A trained nurse is always present in the school during school hours. The medical room is well-lit, and is stocked with all the basic medications. However, medicines are given to children only after first consulting the parents to ascertain any allergies he/she may have. They are not allowed to carry medication with them, with the exception of asthma inhalers and diabetic equipment or any other medicine prescribed by a doctor and notified to the school well in advance.
