Art is an exquisite way to make students express their thoughts and create something of their own. It allows students to represent their abstract ideas pictorially. As their mentors, we are responsible for ensuring that students are exposed to various activities and are given the required resources to excel in academics and refine their artistic skills and talents. Creating art is the best way for children to understand complex problems and their choices. The Millennium School’s art and craft programme is a perfect blend of creativity and innovation. The programme is designed to build skills, develop competencies and provide resources that support students’ creative learning . Most importantly, it gives students the chance to use their imagination. Some of the activities that the school has included on the programme are drawing, painting, craft, origami, photography, creative writing, calligraphy and candle making.
